Bamboo Dish Brush Set – Non-Toxic, Replaceable Heads
The Bamboo Dish Brush Set with Replaceable Heads is a natural, non-toxic cleaning tool designed to handle everyday kitchen scrubbing while keeping synthetic plastics and harsh chemicals out of your home and waterways.
Most conventional dish brushes are made from petroleum-based plastics and synthetic fibers that shed microplastics with every use. This brush is built differently — the handle is crafted from responsibly harvested bamboo, one of the fastest-growing and most renewable materials on earth, while the bristles are sourced from natural plant fibers. Because the heads are replaceable, you extend the life of the handle significantly, reducing waste and saving resources over time. It's a small swap that carries real environmental weight.
Choose the bristle style that best fits your cleaning needs:
- Palm Bristles – $11.50: Soft, flexible fibers derived from palm plants — ideal for everyday dish washing, delicate surfaces, and lighter scrubbing tasks.
- Sisal Bristles – $11.84: Coarser, stiffer fibers made from agave plants — well-suited for tackling stubborn residue, cast iron, and heavier-duty scrubbing.
Product Specifications:
- Handle material: Responsibly harvested bamboo
- Bristle materials: Natural palm fiber or natural sisal fiber (plant-based)
- Non-toxic and free from synthetic plastics in bristles
- Replaceable brush head design
- Suitable for dishes, pots, pans, and general kitchen surfaces
Q: What is the difference between palm and sisal bristles?
Palm bristles are softer and more flexible, making them great for everyday dishwashing and gentler surfaces. Sisal bristles are coarser and stiffer, offering more scrubbing power for baked-on food or rougher cookware.
Q: Are the replacement heads sold separately?
The replaceable head design means you can swap out worn bristles without discarding the bamboo handle. Check the Rootborn Rituals shop for compatible replacement head options.
Q: Is bamboo actually more sustainable than plastic handles?
Bamboo grows rapidly without the need for pesticides or replanting, and it biodegrades at the end of its life unlike plastic. It's one of the most sustainable handle materials available for kitchen tools.
Q: Can these brushes be used with soap and hot water?
Yes. Both bristle varieties are designed for regular use with dish soap and warm to hot water. To extend the life of your brush, allow it to dry between uses rather than leaving it submerged in water.
Q: Are these brushes compostable?
The bamboo handle and natural plant-fiber bristles are biodegradable, making disposal far more eco-friendly than synthetic alternatives. Always confirm your local composting guidelines.

I bought it to clean the cast iron pan.
Good
I bought it to give to my parents, and the quality looks good.
Received in 6 days, the product matches the description. The one with darker bristles is harder. We'll see with use. Thank you.
Great brushes.
I purchased this for cleaning the kitchen sink. The material is quite stiff, so it seems perfect for its purpose. I like that it fits comfortably in one hand.
Good material. One is definitely rougher than the other as expected. Fits my palm perfectly
Shipped quickly
After making food with a pan, brush it once and use it for other foods.
Fast shipping, well-packaged, quality product, highly recommended
I use it to wash the back of the frying pan.
Two types make it easy to choose and store.
The strong brush is nice. The dark brown one is stiffer while the light one is slightly softer. Still, both are strong so I will use them well.
Previously, it was a brush made of coconut material, but this time it is a brush made of tough fibers extracted from sisal leaves. It is very useful for removing foreign substances from cast iron skillets or woks.
It's a natural cleaning brush, so it's good. It's a good product compared to German products~
Bamboo Dish Brush Set – Non-Toxic, Replaceable Heads
I love them occasionally a bristle comes loose but that is something we need to change our perspective about in switching to non-plastic
It's a set of two, and they are really useful for washing dishes. One of the two is slightly soft, while the other is a bit rough. So, I use the soft one a lot for washing bowls or cups, and the rough one for washing pots or pans. At home, we use a dishwasher, but before using the dishwasher, it's really good for pre-washing dishes. When using a sponge, if there's oil or if the sauce is strong, there will be residue left on the sponge. But with this, there's no residue left after pre-washing, so it's clean. And I thought it would be hard to wash everything thoroughly, but the dishwashing quality is really good.
very cool brushes! I already had one like this with coconut fiber, and this time I ordered two more. with sisal it's softer, with fiber it's rougher)
Wonderful brushes made from natural materials — very eco-friendly and they clean dirt off dishes easily and beautifully.
